There are no “alphas” and “betas.” There are merely followers (people who eat the dunkin at group meeting) and leaders (people who get the dunkin for group meeting)
MIT has an endowment of $27 BILLION — that's billion, with a 'B'. They should not be exploiting teachers who are interacting with thousands of their students and help make MIT the great university that it is.
I stand in solidarity with @MITGradUnion working to form a union.
It is insane that while MIT's endowment grew by over $9 BILLION in 2021, nearly 1 in 4 grad students struggle to keep up with cost of living. I say to MIT: invest in your students. I stand in solidarity with @MITGradUnion in their efforts to form a union.
Check out our new op-ed on why thousands of us are unionizing @MITGradUnion! Through the power of collective organizing, we can and will insist on quality and affordable housing. We must refocus this institution on research and people. https://t.co/B2IHuEeomz #MITGSU#UnionYES
@uberhobbit@mit_romangroup@MITGradUnion Graduate workers should not have to worry about making rent in a world where MIT functions as both our employer and landlord - in a union we can ensure that basic needs are met through our collective power
For this #UnionPets#tgif, we have the lovely Poppy wearing her #MITGSU button as she contemplates the destruction of Eastgate & how important union efforts for affordable housing are. Join us and sign your card today: https://t.co/SrdCfEY8F0
Our latest work, by @Blake_Johnson39 and @DiIorioCatalyst, identifies and quantifies distinct sites in Hf-Beta zeolites using probe molecule adsorption, infrared spectroscopy, and detailed kinetics. Find it here: https://t.co/hvLc4iePaK
Now out, in Accounts of Materials Research, @Blake_Johnson39 and @DiIorioCatalyst review synthetic, spectroscopic, and kinetic methods to probe Lewis acid zeolite environments for liquid-phase catalysis! Find it here: https://t.co/SoNiMf16dm
