There are teams with less talent that finished higher in the SEC. There are blue bloods still landing elite high school recruits. There are schools who spent a lot of money that are having success through the portal.

Kentucky is none of these and there's no excuse for it.

Kentucky has a talented (and expensive) roster. Missouri has a roster that fits. Last night wasn’t decided on a 15-2 run to close the game, it was won when Gates and staff put together a team of unselfish, complimentary players who know their role and are coached to execute.
