We can confirm a minute's silence will be held prior to kick off tomorrow, in memory of the late, great John Kear.
A true legend of the sport. Our thoughts and condolences remain with his nearest and dearest at this time.
Willie Peters has described the tackle on Bill Leyland in the cup final as the 'worst he has ever seen', and insists he was staggered Junior Nsemba wasn't charged. Says Nsemba's involvement led to Leyland being put in a dangerous position.

Dedication, dignity and the Challenge Cup King, that was John Kear.
John Kear passed away suddenly on Sunday afternoon after returning north from Wembley, having been part of the commentary team for the Challenge Cup Final.
He was the ultimate selfless, hard-working club servant for many clubs over his 35 years a coach.
He was a man loved and respected by all.
My thoughts and condolences are with John’s wife Dawn, his family and friends at this difficult time.
Good to hear from Bradford Bulls assistant coach Carl Forster who says that there could be as many as six fresh faces taking to the Odsal Stadium field against the York Knights on Friday evening.
Forster confirmed during his press conference that Ryan Sutton, Joe Mellor, Ebon Scurr, Andy Ackers, Ethan Ryan and Riley Dean are all in contention to feature on Friday evening.
Bradford travelled to face the Warrington Wolves a fortnight ago missing 13 first team players, so the possibility of the Bulls naming their strongest side in months is a positive development.
Jayden Nikorima says that he is still working on building his match fitness following the long injury that has limited him to just four appearances so far in 2026.
The good news for the Bradford Bulls supporters is that Jayden will spend the next two weeks resting and recovering so he can perform consistently in the second half of the Super League season.
He feels that the club’s narrow defeat to the Warrington Wolves was down to repeated mistakes in silly areas and poor game management, which ultimately cost them.
Jayden also says that he was initially shocked but is excited about the club’s Las Vegas fixture against the Leigh Leopards in 2027, because he has personal memories there from his wedding there.
The Bulls star described the Vegas trip as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for supporters and said it would give Bradford major exposure in recruiting big name players, crediting the club’s co-owners for pushing the team onto a bigger stage.
