@prsfund Amazing video signposted by @weare1of100 . Actually found an old 12 from Ashley in my attic today. Still sounds fantastic - human arts on @SomaRecords. Best wishes to Ashley and Jo.
@JohnWight1@erinyaps Forvme, it has nothing to do with a history or Irish immigration. The disdain I have for yesterday’s events is based on a sense of shame and frustration that the antisocial behaviour seen by many supporters is now accepted as normal. I was also pulling for the underdog
@lawrencedonegan Really bad look for Celtic right now. League victory tarnished by pitch invasion, followed up by public disorder in the city centre. Shameful. Interesting to see if the club rekease a statement.
@PartickThistle Guidance is really clear = good but…the away allocation being done via fanbase has not been done before. I think it’s the right approach but will only work if we have the correct links to email addresses. The folks with physical season tickets might be out of practice…
@Jblimewhite@32watto@PlayEssentials1 I did exactly the same. Am actually wearing them to padel this morning (as an overweight 55 year old). I reckon all jags fans should buy his socks after the way he changed the game last night. Magic.
@jhnmcgnly@kmckenna63 To my mind any rules that suggest that was a penalty need changing. If anything positive comes out of this it’s that we finally sort out the handball rule. All this unnatural Position stuff is a crock of shit. VAR intervention also needs to improve.
@jhnmcgnly@kmckenna63 That’s actually a decent analysis but the reason there is outrage today is because of the previous inconsistency and also the timing of the events. It’s also the facts that the handball rule itself needs changed, and the usage of VAR needs improving.
@AGM60 Dunfermline did really well blocking the channels out from the back. We need to find a way through that on Friday to get smith and stanway on the ball. We tried it but they definitely were setup to stop that. A fascinating tactical match too. Their left wing also a worry…
1st order of @PlayEssentials1 socks delivered today. Quite why an overweight 55 year old bought some grip socks I’m not quite sure. I actually did a forward roll down Byres road on Sunday (after more than a few beers). So maybe they’ll help me with that…
@Jamie_Millard Yeah - the bit that sticks in the craw is the spfl grabbing a chunk of it and potentially giving it to our competitors for next year. Hopefully you won’t need to worry about this via Stenny.
Is it not the case that some huge % of the gate goes to the spfl for parachute payments. This totally makes sense from a Dunfermline perspective (the price reduction). Why do other clubs including thistle not do similar?
@Jamie_Millard I might admit defeat and blame ChatGPT. You are right. Away team gets nothing according to latest document. Key decision for pt is whether to reduce the costs as spfl take 50% of balance (minus costs).
Update - after a rather long debate with a Morton fan below. Summary is that spfl have set min price for quarters/semis at £12. For the final it’s £18. @PTFCSLO tagging you in case we can suggest that for us? Not tempting fate but a reduction for any phase would be welcome.
