⚠️Not Financial Advice
Most people like to talk about their gains particularly in a bull market like this, but has anyone had any outrageous losses they’ve not told anyone about? I’ll start, I’m down 97% in my $SPCE which is about £2.5k. I bought it in 2019 after it reverse merged via SPAC. I was once up 200% in this position and didn’t sell thinking ‘let your winners run’, the only downside was this winner rode off into the sunset and straight into the bin 😂
@investwithTom27 Had a stock jump 2,200%, had absolute peanuts in the position due to the rest of the money in my portfolio being invested. If I had a couple of grand in it instead that would’ve made an unreal difference.
I love mine, was way cheaper to own it compared to the Skoda I was driving before purely based on the miles I was doing. The only downside is the depreciation. I’m probably going to chop my model 3 in (it’s on PCP atm) over the next few months and buy a second hand model 3 with a warranty.
@GeorgeHerring@2147mill Yeah absolutely. It always makes me laugh when you see people say that there mortgage is like £1200 a month and you have some people in disbelief of how cheap that is and some in disbelief of how expensive that is 😂
@GeorgeHerring@2147mill It is quite amazing how much the value of money fluctuates across the country. I completely agree with your point, and I also know some people who live in and around London and other cities who would laugh at me for suggesting £75k is comfortable.
@JayJayTVee Fair play, love that! Are you thinking about letting ride now that you have your initial investment out of it? Or looking to gradually trim it?
