I may be tired and a little hoarse, but as I said again and again on the Senate floor, this is a moment where we cannot afford to be silent, when we must speak up.
What’s most clear to me tonight is that this is just the beginning, that Americans across this country, no matter their title or party, are ready to be heard.
I believe that history will show we rose to meet this moment.
It will show we did not let the chaos and division go unanswered.
It will show that when our president chose to spread lies and sow fear, we chose to come together, to work together, and to rise together.
As a white woman who voted for VP Kamala Harris in this race, Pres Joe Biden in the last, and Secretary Hillary Clinton in the one before that, I’m so over other white women not seeing beyond their own privilege while they’re up on their pedestals. Your selfishness is a disgrace.
it is not just abortions. the department of education, climate, middle class, lgbtq community, immigrant families. but hey, trump handled OBAMA’S economy (it was NOT his) well so f all that right ? y’all are sick individuals
if you voted for trump, know that millions of women's blood will be on your hands.
you looked at your daughters, your sisters, your mothers, your nieces, your granddaughters, your grandmothers, your aunts, and your cousins and said to them: i do not care about your safety.
people who say "well trump was president in 2016 you'll live 🤓" do not realize tens of thousands of people died because he downplayed a pandemic and women today are dying because of the 3 supreme court justices he appointed
James Earl Jones, the prolific film, TV and theater actor whose resonant, unmistakable baritone was most widely known as the voice of “Star Wars” villain Darth Vader, died Monday. He was 93.
