@KevinWolffart Not sure to be honest. I think a 335 (gillot) or something like that. I really am not much of a tool person. I bought a ton of some old pens years back and just try random ones. I use a hunt 102 a lot. Paper honestly is a bigger factor now. Most paper sucks.
@TomSniegoski Thanks so much. Not going to lie. This piece kicked my ass. For 2 days I was convinced I'd ruined it. It took about 4-5 days total. So days 3 and 4 I spent about 22 hours not sure if I should tap out or not. I'm glad I stuck it out. But definitely want to try a few more.
@bamf27art Thanks. I had some crazier ideas for parts but wasn't super familar with working in the style. I do detailed stuff but the Franklin Booth /Wrightson technique is not how I normally do my lines. I definitely want to attempt some more of this though. It was very challenging.
I remember as a teenager seeing HR Giger's art for the first time and finding out it was airbrush. For some odd reason I remember thinking and even saying back then, one day I'd be able to get that look using tech pens. I did this in 2018. Only line work. No washes or marker.
@theaginggeek Thanks Rob. It was fun to do. I really wasnt sure which version of Spawn to do. So I did kind of a combination of things I liked and remembered seeing on his costume.
