🚨An Urbandale, Iowa Trump supporter is facing multiple charges involving the sexual exploitation of minors.

David Woiwood was arrested on May 14 after police discovered 11 images of child sexual abuse material on his phone, per court documents. He was scheduled to appear in court May 22.

This arrest came weeks after a separate April arrest on one count of enticing a minor. His arraignment on that charge is set for June 11.

Woiwood’s Facebook page features an image of him with a “MAKING HOLINESS GREAT AGAIN” hat combining his support for Trump with his support for Christian mythology. He also made a post defending right-wing killer Kyle Rittenhouse and a post claiming the left is try to confiscate American’s guns.

Given Woiwood is the usual suspect — a straight white Christian conservative — this case is unlikely to make national headlines or be amplified by the highly organized right-wing echo chamber. Make him infamous. 🔁

SEEMS REASONABLE: The NAACP is encouraging Black athletes to avoid playing in states where Republicans are attacking Black voting rights.

This call is giving sports enthusiasts in the MAGA world a conniption. The list of states where Republicans have launched assaults on Black voting rights includes major athletic powerhouses in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Louisiana, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas.

The NAACP urged students to consider attending historically Black colleges and universities instead. College sports, and especially college football, are a key source of income and pride for several states, and a boycott could pose an obvious threat to their cash cow.

Maybe consider treating your state's Black citizens as people worth listening to, and you wouldn't be in this position. Too bad, so sad, but you've brought it upon yourselves with your arrogance and unearned sense of superiority.
