The first great robotics trade may not be a robotics company.
The robot gets the attention.
The stack may capture the economics.

🇨🇳 JUST IN: Huawei announces a chipmaking breakthrough targeting 1.4nm by 2031.
This is expected to disrupt $TSMC and $ASML, while potentially undermining the effectiveness of Western export controls by accelerating China's domestic self-sufficiency
$AEVA
LiDar theme. Volume last week was telling.
Looking to see if it pulls back into the 9EMA and consolidates or pushes through the first target.
I have an open position in $OUST, so just watching $AEVA for now.
$AEVA | Semiconductor Optical Amplifier (SOA)
CEO on Q1 Call: "So we're seeing some strong -- very strong interest for high-power sources and silicon photonics from some of the big players in the space, from folks that are making the GPUs like the obvious $NVDA and $AMD to some of the hyperscalers, $AMZN, $META, others."
Aeva announced their SOA product in a very low-key way back in January. But it could become a significant part of their revenue. 💰
Let me explain:
To strengthen laser signals inside their LiDAR sensors, Aeva developed its own Semiconductor Optical Amplifier (SOA) technology because existing products did not meet their performance requirements.
Building on that expertise, the company is now commercializing the SOA as a standalone product for the much larger AI data center market.
Data in modern high-speed systems travels between GPUs and switches as pulses of light through optical fibers because light can carry vastly more information, much faster and with far less energy loss than traditional electrical signals over copper wires.
However, even light signals weaken over distance.
Aeva’s SOA is a small chip that directly boosts these weakening light signals so the data can travel farther, faster, and more reliably without converting back to electricity.
SOAs enable AI data centers to use less power, generate lower heat, and reduce overall costs.
The CEO mentioned on the call that their technology potentially offers significantly better performance and cost efficiency versus what is available on the market today.
@LivicusInvest Your conviction in $NAVN is starting to bear fruits. Congrats!
Also think there will be a physical AI rotation soon. So bullish on $AEVA. Have you looked at $AMBA at one point?
#ElonMusk lost in court vs #Altman, but #OpenAI did not fully win the narrative: the battle over who controls the future of AI is far from over.
