Good evening Colleagues. I trust we are fine.

Through this medium, I would want to reaffirm the commitment of the executive of the HOFN to the obvious welfare of all house officers across our nation.

In line with the revelation we made earlier, payment of June salary has been made within the time window proposed to us. The executive determined to do all within its capacity to ensuring it came as proposed, and we have done just that.

We appreciate the Registrar of MDCN, and the Accountant General of the Federation. We appreciate the NMA President for his support at all times.

Going forward, we will now undertake plans that have been on the counter, for the growth of our forum and for improved welfare of all members.

Keep believing in us, as it keeps getting better by the day.
Together, we will!

Dr. Emeku Iheanyi
National HO Rep/President, HOFN

My question. Was the money disbursed?

If yea, someone somewhere has eaten that money. N6.44 billion

This is what the @officialEFCC should fish out instead of going after voices criticizing this govt.

Nigeria keeps saying it doesn’t have enough doctors.

We have only about 50,000 doctors serving over 200 million people. That's 1 Doctor to over 4,000 patients.

You'd expect every doctor willing to serve to be encouraged.

Instead, one is detained after carrying out a menstrual hygiene outreach in Kaduna State.

Another 238 young doctors who returned home to practise wake up to an unexplained increase in their induction fees from ₦265,000 to over ₦415,000.

We cannot keep discouraging the very people we desperately need.

I respectfully appeal to the @KadunaMOH, @GovKaduna, @WHONigeria, @NGRSenate, @NGRPresident, and @Fmohnigeria to ensure Dr Al-Amin regains his freedom, and to the @MDCNOfficial to review this new fee.

🧵🧵Most Nigerian doctors think they need to land in Germany before they can start their Approbation file.

Wrong.

You can prepare and submit most of your application from Lagos, Abuja, wherever you are right now.

Here's exactly what you can and can't do offshore

🇩🇪 Germany or 🇨🇭 Switzerland?

Everyone has an opinion.
Very few have actually worked in both.

Which country is easier to enter?
Where do doctors earn more?
Is the training better?
Which licensing pathway is faster?

And what are people not telling you before you make a life-changing decision?

On 26th July, I'm joined by Jameel Hijazeen, a German board-certified Consultant Neurologist now completing his Psychiatry residency in Switzerland.

Just an honest conversation from someone who's lived both systems.

If you're planning your medical career in Europe, this is one Space you shouldn't miss.

They want to kill the Foreign trained doctors next o😭😭😭😭
We’re being told to pay 415k for induction when the last set paid 265k which is still higher than what national doctors pay by the way😭😭😭😭😭
Help us o

[Adeogo @BlessingAkitoye]

@williams___p @MDCNOfficial It’s almost like only the rich are allowed to be doctors in a country with such terrible doctor to patient ratio.
