Introducing the USDC Bridge.
A direct way to move USDC crosschain.
Built and operated by Circle, USDC Bridge gives you a predictable, transparent way to move USDC between chains:
→ Native burn-and-mint transfers
→ Clear fees upfront, with live status and progress
→ No route selection. No bridge complexity.
→ Destination gas handled automatically
Move USDC. That’s it.

Arc Community Spotlight: @XyloNet_ & PayX
XyloNet and PayX are showing what’s possible on Arc when the creator economy and DeFi meet around native @USDC.
PayX enables non-custodial USDC tipping to any X user.
XyloNet brings a full stablecoin DeFi stack, including swaps, CCTP bridging, and vaults, all running on Arc Testnet.
The result:
→ $10M Testnet USDC TVL in one week
→ 6K+ users in week one
→ Real usage, ahead of mainnet
This is Arc and Circle in motion: builders shipping, users engaging, and stablecoin-native applications gaining traction early.
🚨 Dead people are officially off the federal payroll!
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent says $175 MILLION in payments to deceased people has been recovered.
The “Do Not Pay” fraud check now covers 99% of federal programs, up from just 4%.
Treasury also blocked nearly $190 MILLION in overseas fraud and ordered an audit of $9 BILLION in contracts.
JD Vance's fraud task force only started in March. Democrats had years.
Why wasn't this done sooner?

At 14:59 UTC on October 23rd, an attacker exploited a bug in Initia MoveVM’s script caching that allowed malicious code to bypass security checks. The attacker artificially spoofed the MoveVM state, thereby crediting themselves with unbacked WETH, iUSD, and USDC tokens without changing the corresponding token’s total supply. No native INIT was minted, and the total INIT supply is unaffected.
Before the network was halted, the attacker bridged out roughly $2.7M, comprising of 105 WETH and ~1.4M AUSD0 via LayerZero along with ~1.08M USDC via Noble and CCTP. The tokens were swapped for 1,135.52 ETH and currently sit in 0x358ef0130f7a5aa516dcd81bdc80b18cde41cac8 on Ethereum Mainnet.
We are actively working on a security fix to patch the identified vulnerability. We expect this to be completed and audited in a few days. Additionally, asset recovery efforts are ongoing with the help of security partners.
The Initia L1 and Rollups remain halted as we work toward a resolution. We hope to safely resume network operations as soon as possible and will provide a full post-mortem once available. In the meantime, we will continue to share verified updates through our official channels.
Please remain cautious of unofficial links, messages, or claims.

@silencexlm@circle@arc The bright side is that @usdc's mainnet arc will likely bring faster and more secure transactions to the blockchain ecosystem, allowing for positive changes.
NEAR Proposal Targets a Sharp Cut in Token Issuance
NEAR’s (@NEARProtocol) House of Stake is voting on a proposal to reduce annual token issuance from 2.5% to 1.6%.
HSP-029 would phase in the reduction over 24 months, following a 90-day grace period.
Under the proposal’s assumptions, projected staking yield would fall from 5.268% to 3.372%. The existing 90/10 staking and treasury split would remain unchanged.
HSP-029 also estimates 66.1 million fewer NEAR tokens would be issued over six years.
Validators must separately adopt a network upgrade.
Metropolis submissions closed with 885 teams, 1,256 participants, and builders from 76 countries
Thank you to everyone who participated. Winners will be announced in early November
