@_AmyGray_ Wow, please link me to the review once it's out :) oh yes, to be honest I prefer Seth's poems to his prose. All you who sleep tonight hangs in my room and Night in Jiangning is sublime. Not an Indian author, but have you explored J.L. Borges? He is another favourite.
@mentalexotica Surprisingly enough, a show called The Mindy Project. It is ridiculous. Another show called the Good Place. And anything by Tina Fey. Hope this helps. I hadn't laughed in months, know exactly what you mean.
@_AmyGray_ Just here to say that I love this. Recently conversed with my kindly librarian about how at our age(or any age for that matter) we really don't have time to waste on undeserving literature. This thread is mighty useful.
@mentalexotica@upulie@Chris_dengate @_AmyGray_ I loved Enchantress with all my heart and some of the others had bits and pieces that were honest and light but a lot of morass, yes. Had to stop reading Shame because it was literally depressing me. (And I mean "literally" the way it is meant to be used.)
