Fruits and vegetables are rotting in the fields because they have nobody to pick them.

When you add this to the Del Monte bankruptcy and the price of diesel we are reaching affordability prices like we haven’t see since the Great Depression.

Last year oranges were 99 cents a pound where I live. This year they are $2.49 a pound that’s a 250% increase in one year.

A massive nuclear waste tomb in the Pacific is beginning to crack and leak.

The Runit Dome, constructed in the late 1970s on a remote island in the Marshall Islands, was built to contain over 120,000 tons of radioactive debris left behind by U.S. nuclear testing. Among the waste is plutonium-239, a highly dangerous isotope that remains radioactive for more than 24,000 years.

The dome stretches roughly 377 feet (115 meters) across and was never properly sealed at the base. Instead, it rests directly on porous coral, allowing groundwater to flow freely beneath it.

Now, rising sea levels and increasingly powerful storms are stressing the structure. Cracks have formed in the concrete, and scientists have already detected elevated radiation levels in the surrounding soil and water.

While the current leaks are still considered relatively minor, experts warn that as oceans continue to rise, the risk of a much larger release will grow.

Built as a temporary fix decades ago, the Runit Dome now stands as a stark reminder: the radioactive waste sealed inside it will remain hazardous long after our civilizations are gone.

🚨NEW: Wachob family members ordered to turn over financial records in Paragon bankruptcy

The committee representing Paragon Industries’ unsecured creditors has won a court order requiring six Wachob family members to provide financial records and sit for depositions.

The committee says it is investigating whether money or assets belonging to Paragon or the Wachob Irrevocable Trust were improperly transferred to or received by family members.

The committee says the family members have repeatedly failed to meet court-ordered deadlines and, according to the filing, have not provided a single requested document.

The filing also accuses some family members of trying to avoid being served with the court orders. In one incident, a process server found several family members aboard a yacht at the Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, Florida. The filing says they ignored the process server's attempts to get their attention, so the orders were left on the yacht.

◾Why was this filed?
The committee says it wants to determine whether assets belonging to the bankruptcy estate were dissipated, hidden or placed beyond creditors' reach. It also alleges the family has engaged in "extreme spending" on luxury goods and services since Paragon filed for bankruptcy, which the committee says raises concerns about assets being spent before creditors can reach them. Those are allegations in the filing, **not** findings by the court.
