day 2 of the @buildanythingso 30-day build anything challenge

lesson 3 was actually very useful, but also the kind of lesson where the real work starts after you finish watching it

the lesson itself is done, but i’m not rushing into the next one yet

i want to spend more time polishing the project and turning the theory into practice

things i want to improve before moving forward:
• dark mode
• responsive design for mobile, tablet and desktop
• better UI details
• make the app more visible on Google
• set up analytics
• think through the database setup

still deciding between Supabase and hosting the database on our own server

we have a @BlockPro_ server, so part of me thinks it might be better to keep more control and build it there

what do you think?

this lesson felt more theoretical overall, but that theory opens a lot of practical work

and honestly, there are so many small details to polish when you want to make something feel real, not just “it works locally”

Before the internet, your access to information was your local library or university. Now, everyone in the world gets the same wikipedia and google.

Crypto's promise is to do the same thing for finance. Instead of having to take your local bank's rate, you should be able to borrow from or lend at the best global rates. Instead of taking your local broker's coverage set as the constraint set, you should get access to global opportunities.

The value prop is clear; time to grow.

as a @monad validator, we pay close attention not only to performance, but also to how the network approaches security.

Monad’s recent post about “validation gates” is a great example.

the idea is simple: AI can help find suspicious code behavior, but Monad doesn’t trust AI findings blindly.

even if AI spots something that looks like a vulnerability, it is not treated as a confirmed bug until it can be proven through tests.

no proof = the finding stays undetermined.

this helps filter out weak or false security reports and keeps the focus on real, reproducible issues.

for validators and builders, this matters. stronger validation processes mean better report quality, fewer false positives, and a more reliable network over time.
