Two teams hardly anyone expected to see in last place on June 9: The Twins, who are 13 games back in the AL Central, and the Nationals, who are seven out in the NL East. Twinsβ 24-36 record is sixth-worst in majors. Diamondbacks, losers of 18 straight on road, worst at 20-42.
The sequence in the first AB is absolutely disgusting! Makes me giggle. And then the command in the second AB to locate all 3 sliders perfectly... UNREAL! The ability to locate + the stuff + the mentality = deGoat
So, you wanna jump on 100mph inside & yank one foul off deGrom? π€
1. FU. Up/In. Get off my plate.
2. FU #2. You're getting nothing but sliders now for this AB & the next.
@heelgemini@Tigresa_de1810@TimHortons Y'all keep planning your road trip! And in the meantime take a shot on the White Sox stack tonight in DFS. @TimHortons do you like our top plays? https://t.co/nFitNXzUh0
@LASteelers69 @dppvip21 Our numbers with projected lineups have 5% value on STL. So I agree it is juiced! But we also like the White Sox stack in DFS if you play - https://t.co/nFitNXzUh0
So now Tony La Russa has negatively spoken about several of his own players while backing the actions of an opposing pitcher who threw at his guy intentionally. Creating serious internal divide! I am guessing Tim Anderson won't be quiet for long. Players vs manager coming soon
Lance Lynn last night said "there are no rules" when a position player is pitching, adding: "The more I play this game, the more those (unwritten) rules have gone away."
Tony La Russa said of those remarks: "Lance has a locker. I have an office. ... I don't agree."
And then he gets thrown at for going yard off of a position player? And for Duffey to stand there and wait for a new ball after an egregiously poor representation of the sport is ridiculous. Take a lap. And take all the old "unwritten rules" heads with you.
Tony La Russa was 'upset' that Yermin Mercedes hit a home run on a 3-0 count last night in a blowout win.
"He made a mistake. There will be a consequence he has to endure here within our family."
