@PaulTassi Tbh I dont understand why people ask for D3 instead of asking them to still work on D2 to finish the fate saga and start to work on D3 on the side. I think it would be better than just 5 years of nothing but idk if it's possible on a business side

Btw, in case you are wondering, the graphics were actually mostly vector graphics which were then directly digital laser printed on the 35mm film, which is why we don't have surviving animation cells of those interfaces.
The warm glow you see in all the old interfaces comes from the exposure on the 35mm film.
In 1970, Syd Mead designed and painted Wonder Wall for @Playboy magazine, an editorial imagining modern media systems integrated seamlessly into the home.
The images move from the final proposed composition into variations exploring the environment and its details. One version introduces a more exotic domestic setting with an under-glass aquarium floor, inflatable furniture, and aircraft artifacts, set against a sliding wall that conceals the equipment racks. Another zooms in on the hi-fi system itself, focusing on finger plates, equalizers, digital readouts, and air and fluid controls.
Playboy ultimately selected the more restrained composition, favoring subtle signs of recent human presence like half-empty glasses and still-smoking cigarettes over the inclusion of figures. The television appears in its alternate mode as a liquid-crystal light show rather than a broadcast screen.
The handling of gouache reveals Mead’s mastery of tone and luminosity, giving the domestic future a quiet, lived-in warmth.
