Just like that, we have UCLA in at No. 2 in our college basketball programs all-time rankings!

You can’t look any further than the record 11 National Championships, with John Wooden leading them to 10 of them between 1964 and 1975. Legends like Lew Alcindor, Bill Walton and Gail Goodrich dominated in that era.

The Bruins won again in 1995 but have consistently put stars onto the next level with Reggie Miller, Russell Westbrook, Kevin Love, Baron Davis, and Jrue Holiday all playing there.

UCLA hasn’t been the dominant title winning force they once were but are still historically etched into have the best decade plus of success in the history of the game.

This a squad I've gotten higher and higher on as the offseason has went on. The add of Kusturica might be the best across the country considering the timing, player and fit on the roster. He will be one of the most talented players in the country. The Perry & Petty backcourt is gonna be FUN. 2 elite shooters that will fit super well together. Then they bring back Dailey & Booker who both started last year. Having 5 guys off the bench who played legit high major minutes last year is something you don't see too often. Robinson & Jovic are 2 guys that could bring some really key minutes. Ultimately this is a team that can compete with some of the elites for me but it will come down to how good is Kusturica from the jump. If he is a star they have a perfect fit of a team behind them and could end up as a top 10 team.

We’re getting into some big name programs as USC comes at at No. 62!

21 NCAA Tournaments for the Trojans with Final Four appearances in 1940 and 1954. But in the modern day they’ve had other strong runs, with Elite 8s in 2001 and 2021.

The Trojans have been great at producing NBA talent - DeMar DeRozan, Nikola Vucevic, Taj Gibson, OJ Mayo, Nick Young, Paul Westphal, and many, many more.

So sure, USC might be a football school, but they’ve had their fair share of hoops. They always seem to be one step away from greatness, so we’ll see where Eric Musselman takes them.

Serbian SF Nikola Kusturica had already committed to UCLA Staff prior to the FIBA 17U World Cup beginning on June 27th, a source tells me.

Was also waiting for UCLA Admissions before officially announcing, but a deal had been agreed to for a couple weeks now, I’m told.
