When I fell asleep at the Garden, the Knicks were Winning. Then when I wake up, I see the Spurs have "won." It seems that in the 4th Quarter, the so-called referees kept "finding" Points for the Spurs. Rigged! Fake Game!

One of the only fiscal issues that Illinois has gotten right is playing hardball with public subsidies for a new Bears stadium. The team keeps bluffing a move to Indiana, but its too far from their sponsors and ticket holders. Don't fold, Illinois, don't fold.
My message to fans of the #Bears, as one who watched my team move from Shea Stadium to nearby East Rutherford, NJ.
It is never the same again.
It’s still your team, you still root like hell for them, but it isn’t ever the same again.
It's funny that one of the most LGBTQ-friendly places in Asia is the one that's China's arch nemesis, but silly Americans fed up with their own empire can't fathom anything except for "US bad therefore anti-US countries good"
Beijing is using K-pop as a Trojan horse to force Taiwanese youth into surrendering their sovereign identity. Ahead of EXO’s July 17 album signing event in Kaohsiung for REVERXE, outraged Taiwanese fans discovered that the ticketing process was hijacked by "Xiaomang," an e-commerce platform owned directly by China’s state-run Hunan TV. To buy a ticket, the platform blocked local phone numbers and explicitly demanded that Taiwanese citizens upload a "Taiwan Compatriot Permit" to verify their identity. Furious locals slammed the move, exposing it as a calculated attempt by the CCP to use pop culture to force the "automated naturalization" of music fans.
To understand the insult, one must understand what this permit represents. Officially issued by Beijing's Exit and Entry Administration, the Taiwan Compatriot Permit is a biometric card that China forces Taiwanese residents to use because Beijing refuses to recognize the Republic of China (Taiwan) passport. Politically, it is a tool weaponized to enforce the "One China" policy, legally reducing sovereign Taiwanese citizens to mere "compatriots" belonging to the PRC. By forcing fans to register with a Chinese-issued document for an event physically happening on Taiwanese soil, the CCP-backed platform is aggressively trying to normalize Beijing's administrative authority over Taiwan's youth.
This predatory digital overreach has triggered immediate national security alarms across Taiwan. Legislator Huang Jie warned that the event is a dangerous data-harvesting trap designed to siphon the personal information of Taiwanese citizens straight into Chinese state servers. While Kaohsiung city officials revealed the organizers have not even applied for a proper venue permit, and local co-organizer FANME scrambled to deny that the Chinese permit would be required, the threat of CCP infiltration remains deeply alarming. Standing firm against this blatant sovereignty grab, proud Taiwanese fans are launching a widespread boycott, proving that their national dignity cannot be bought or leveraged.
