I was patiently waiting on the dock for the egrets in the marsh to fly by so I could get a closer picture when this heron flew right by me, landed, and sat there like he was waiting for me to take his picture.

Deranged art tip: when I'm struggling with a pose, I open a new canvas and try to draw the most insane pose I can find. Then, when I'm about to fucking cry about my lack of skill, I go back to the original one and it's so easy in comparison I manage to do it perfectly 👍🏻
