I think that's a simplification of how psychosis actually works.

Let's say she believed it was "God" talking to her. She can know her husband would have a problem with what she's planning to do because "God" isn't talking to him. You can have those hallucinations while still having basic logic of doing what needs to be done to fulfill the "godly mission" without being stopped
