There's millions of people who want to irresponsibly vote for Trump to "send a message" and then get liberals to protect them from the bad things Trump tries to do.
These idiots' lesson from 2016 is the libs will always protect them. But this time, we won't.
Most Trump supporters I talk to privately admit they support him while not wanting him to implement most of the policies he has proposed. Not only that but they acknowledge that most of his policies would be extremely damaging if implemented.
What kind of weird hypnosis is this?
@CowcatEsq@PatrickHeizer You are very very gullible to still be buying shit they have been selling for almost 20 years now. You're not even buying the new bullshit or the recently discounted bullshit. You sell your soul for old expired bullshit. And I laugh at you.
@WeaponScientist It's a bit annoying. I interacted with Andor stuff because Andor is a damned good show. Now I'm getting random posts about clone wars or whatever that has been responding like:
@Bkclaims Michelin 1 stars are a very mixed bag. Some real winners mixed with overpriced try-hards. The Bib Gorumonds often beat the 1 stars on food quality.
@amimevalepitito@constans Yeah the nightlife is going very strong now. But people who are looking for nightlife in the old 2010s Manhattan spots won't find it. It's moved to BK and it's getting bigger every year!
@davereiss9@AnthropoceneMe1 In most of human history children didn't have "universal schooling" they had jobs. Most had a job by 5 years old and were essentially full time workers by 8
In most societies adulthood began at puberty so by 13-14 they were independent adults.
Parenting today is more demanding
@JaredKubin Oh, see, I put zero thought or emotion into anything and just grow my net worth double digit percent compounded every year with passive index funds. It's boring to get rich, really.
@LinkofSunshine Gotta have your party starters in the group. Can't have an entire group of "I'll get there an hour late when things are actually happening"
@floralclove@ryanjmccomb Turns out Mamdami was right about everything and Hocul simply throwing away her old Cuomo playbook and adopting his platform is crushing it with voters.
@DeepDishEnjoyer Ezra Klein's reporting that $200B of Microsoft's $250B chips are currently sitting in a warehouse because there's no data centers to plug them into and there may not be for years and years.
there are some people who define themselves by "not being normie" or "going against the grain" to *such* an extent that one begins to wonder whether they actually have any agency left
@b_wheat_crush Yeah this is the variable. Everyone smoked so everything tasted bad to the smokers. And the smokers were in the kitchen cooking the food. So the food they cooked tasted like crap.
The end of smoking in the 1980s was exactly when culinary arts started being taken seriously.
