@WeAreOpenreach have contacted us for details of the cable to make safe. If you come across any downed cable treat as live do not approach and report to @ssencommunity - electricity can arc upto 15m ⚡️⚡️ cables can get caught in 🌳 and not trip out @WiltsPrepared

@WeAreOpenreach has been in touch regarding the downed cable on Bath Road to make it safe. In the mean time do not approach any down cable, assume they might be live and report to @ssencommunity. Electricity can arc considerable distances (15m) @WiltsPrepared

2 #volunteers out with our truck this morning managing an impromptu road closure due to a tree down on a dangerous bend. Advising the public on alternative routes, helping big lorries reverse, and warn the emergency services so they don't waste precious time. #CommunityResilience
