Marrakesh has been bugging me from the shelf for too long and I'm happy to have finally got it to the table. It's certainly a modern Feld game, whether that's a good thing or a bad thing for you. I found it a fun series of semi-dimilar mini-games.
These are all the games we brought back from Spiel!
Cannot wait to play and cover as many of these as possible during the rest of the year!
Any games here that you are excited for?
First play of Pioneer Rails by @DrandaGames. Been very excited to try this one and was happy to get a copy at Spiel this year. The poker cards are a gorgeous addition and I want to try the variant where you hold a secret card until the end of each round to ramp up the theme.

Spent some time digging into a solo play of Halls of Hegra over the weekend. “Digging” is actually part of the game, so this tweet is a fun pun. Laugh at my jokes!!
I played the original goblin filled Gosu back in the day, and always had a soft spot for it. Learning and playing the new edition today - let’s see if Lucky Luke stays lucky when there’s no dice in the game!
I tabled Circadians: Chaos Order at a game day today. It was the game day today. 4.5 hours with set-up, learning, teaching, and playing.
I appreciate being able to listen to @beforeyouplay_'s video on the drive over so jumping into it was easier.
Settling in after moving is always a pain, but we've got enough of the house in order we could focus on the game collection. First time buying a kallax. We got one larger than our collection to allow room for decor. Our goal is to keep it that way. Small games on a separate shelf
