@useaug@UECCC1 Do you as USEA track back the impact of these expos and conferences? Or it just ends there.
I would like to see the before and after results.
@AKasingye We lack people with authority for example you could find that in the full ministry they're no people who have traded before.
So how can they give advise to others when they don't? For example in the area I'm in of solar. You may find no one in the ministry with solar knowledge.
It's such a good facility but nowadays such stadiums are power by "solar energy" to reduce on the electricity bills which in the long run become a burden to the management.
This is something National Council of Sports need to look into Or Ministry of Education Or FUFA.
@lawrencekitema But what stops our African roads like to have lights?
Like these days there's solar street lights which are sustainable at the end of the day
This is why I don't start solar convos with here's our 5kW packages
I start with the electricity being consumed
207.9 kWh → 6.93 kWh/day → est. solar prodn → understand timing → size storage → check peak loads → design the system
That's how a bill becomes a solar design.
Someone bought 207.9 kWh of UEDCL electricity in one month.
He paid UGX 160,000.
Now suppose he wants solar to replace that grid consumption.
The best question isn't what is the price of solar?
It's how big does my system need to be? 🧵 1/9:
I want the actual load profile.
What runs during the day, after sunset and during outages? What's the biggest appliance? How long does each one run?
2 homes can both consume 207.9 kWh/mo and need different systems.
The bill tells me how much electricity was bought.
