@WheelmanForHire I was driving with a truck driver in California. At 10:00 am (he started at 5:00) he asked if it was ok if he clocked out and kept working. He said he would rather have lunch at lunchtime instead of the states mandatory “after 5 hours”. These laws are insane.
@SunSurfSalt@IWillNvrGrowUp@PierrePoilievre Care to share one? Companies don’t typically buy profitable companies because the owners would be asking too much. You buy bolt on companies to give you access to other markets, struggling companies because synergies can make them profitable, or you buy a customer base
@Dave_Eby Last week your leader said he needed to plan for an American invasion while Canadian pilots were training on their recently purchased fighter jets. Today you post a picture of DJT announcing a new steel plant while at the same time one in Canada announced a closing. Bad timing?
@ABlinken Iran continued to build the weapon after they were given billions, just like North Korea. You’ve been around, I can’t believe you can’t admit that to yourself.
@IWillNvrGrowUp@SunSurfSalt@PierrePoilievre Sorry, but the only time I have seen someone sell to get the highest possible price is in businesses like tech, not an old industry like steel. Buying an unprofitable business is actually a great business choice but I’m running out of characters to debate this.
@Seriously_1970 The federal workforce has declined dramatically, even in the face of constant lawsuits to stop it. And remember, DJT does not have the power of the purse, congress does. I notice you didn’t touch inflation or wage growth. Any reason why?
@TheRoyGreenShow I hate to hear this for the workers. And even worse, most people have no clue how many other jobs will be lost by this. Those workers pay rent, bought houses, get haircuts, buy cars, eat out etc. The ripple effect of this will devastate the entire area.
@SunSurfSalt@PierrePoilievre When a company is bought out, it is typically because they are not profitable. If it was as simple as having Candian ownership, the past owners would have never sold. As a general rule, you don’t sell when you are profitable.
@MPelletierCIO The definition of a recession is negative gdp growth. The fednow estimate is an increase of 5.1% for this quarter. Stop lying and fear mongering.
@cjharrispretzer This is the kind of attitude that created the whole “pre-existing condition” problem. You can’t not pay for insurance until you get cancer or some other horrendous disease. Cancer costs hundreds of thousands of dollars to treat.
@dl_blackburn To your “shouldn’t cost as much” point. Why? Does the prefessor make less? Is that classroom less expensive than the other? Are HVAC costs lower for one vs the other? Make that make sense please.
@anniedufour99 I understand you reporting on tariff impact on auto sales. But why the dig at the end about Americans and their awareness of DJT policies? It puts doubt in the readers mind that you have a bias because of your dislike for him.
@KurtSchlichter This, and your previous post cracks me up. If 80% said they don’t respond to polls, how many actually don’t? (They responded to a poll to tell you they don’t respond to polls). What about those that really don’t respond and didn’t? Do you see where I’m going here?
@Chris__X__ They all have one thing in common. It was always about them. When the dems hated MTG I didn’t like her either. She was a phony. Same with Tucker. I never trust those that make it about themselves.
