@colmtobin The UK cannot understand that the EU not ROI are maintaining that the backstop is part of any deal. Even if the Republic asked to remove the backstop, Europe will insist that the EU border us secure. I really think it's disingenuous for the DUP to blame ROI for an EU decision.

We were delighted to have Mayor @alavin1 officially open the Drummanagh exhibition in the #Rush community centre on Saturday, loads of great finds and really fascinating to learn of the history of the Martello tower in Rush dating back centuries

@simoncoveney The British keep referring to the ' Irish backstop or the Irish hard border'. This is misleading as it is a EU border located on the island of Ireland. We need to keep stressing this to the British public as we are increasingly been portrayed as the cause of the problem.
