@nikegal7 @OrthopaedicAPTA @APTAtweets Thank you for this. While the APTA recommendations were not accepted in full, the ‘middle road’ of the HCPAC values were accepted, so there are increases (even if very small) in 16 of the 19 codes listed that will lead to increased valuation. See page 179 & hope this helps!
@sgremminger But I love that the reason is because of Rs saying that it would have been “predatory federalism” as opposed to finding good policy. What is the R solution?
@LadyPatriot867@JonathanTurley Successful conspiracies are much less likely than incompetence in any bureaucracy/system. Ds are too disorganized to implement a grand plan like that. That old Mark Twain quote is right on…
@LadyPatriot867@JonathanTurley I do not support political violence by anyone. That’s the whole point of politics - so we don’t shoot each other. But changing the court’s composition is not violence and makes sense when it keeps undermining its own legitimacy. Courts need legitimacy and this one has lost it.
@LadyPatriot867@JonathanTurley And I disagree here too. D’s are in no way perfect but at least they didn’t try to overthrow the government. Which it looks clearly like Ginni Thomas fostered through fundraising and action. And the. justice Thomas didn’t even recuse himself, going against judicial ethics rules.
@LadyPatriot867@JonathanTurley I disagree. Look at what Roberts wrote or even Kavanaugh. Roberts often takes a two-step approach like with eviscerating the Voting Rights Act. Roberts has lost control and the far right has taken over, proving up the Court’s new naked political bent.
@LadyPatriot867@JonathanTurley Well calling my thinking polluted certainly does not engender mine. May wish to re-learn those kindergarten lessons, hoss.
@LadyPatriot867 Great! The let’s see some Rs actually vote that way, like ever. Romney supports an EITC extension, but Rs repeatedly kill it. Look at how they vote, not what they say.
@LadyPatriot867@JonathanTurley As to this point, I do not see that in any was as an invitation, but an analysis exposing what was really going on. The SG was saying that in order to justify a decision supporting the MS statute, Roe had to fall, not that the SG wanted that to happen. Like calling out reality.
@LadyPatriot867@JonathanTurley Well if you want respect, get involved. Have you ever run for office? Volunteered for a campaign? Or do you just spew anger through rage tweets and declare victory? I’ve not seen any arguments that are persuasive or eye opening. Just the same tired flag-wrapped knuckle dragging.
