Yesterday, two Rwanda National Police officers completed the Senior Officers Basic Course in #Singapore under the @Rwandapolice- @SingaporePolice bilateral cooperation Agreement. Lawrence Manzi and Emmanuel Rusingizandekwe graduated with the rank of Assistant Inspector of Police (AIP).

High Commissioner @IBMuhizi, Rwandan diplomats in #Singapore, and ACP Augustin Ntaganira, Deputy Commandant and Chief Instructor at the National Police College (Musanze), attended the graduation ceremony.

Today, we were honoured to be joined by senior officials from the Government of #Singapore, Heads of Diplomatic Missions, Friends of #Rwanda, and members of the Rwandan community as we celebrated the 32nd anniversary of #Kwibohora, Rwanda's Liberation Day.

High Commissioner @IBMuhizi paid tribute to the brave men and women who fought tirelessly for #Rwanda’s liberation, including those who made the ultimate sacrifice to secure our country’s freedom.

He also reflected on Rwanda’s remarkable journey from liberation to transformation, underpinned by unity, resilience, inclusion, and innovation. He further highlighted the growing Rwanda–Singapore partnership, which continues to expand across key areas such as Fintech, AI, Education, Sustainability, Security, and Trade.

Celebrating the fruits of Rwanda–Singapore educational cooperation

Today, High Commissioner @IBMuhizi attended the @NTUsg Convocation Ceremony for the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) School of Materials Science and Engineering, during which Rwandan postgraduate graduand @BobHbmn, a beneficiary of the NTU–MINEDUC academic exchange partnership, was conferred a Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering.

More Rwandan graduands from the same cohort, enrolled in different schools at @NTUsg, are expected to graduate in the coming days.
