Instead, I was lied to, pressured into an unnecessary upgrade, and told false information about my account. 📷 Feb 14: Called back to cancel the order. You can't make this stuff up. Verizon FiOS has a user group on Facebook. I joined it yesterday. One of the primary purposes of user groups is to discuss problems, troubleshoot issues, and find solutions collectively. They provide a space for members to share challenges, seek advice, and learn from others’ experiences.
But NO! Not a Verizon user group. I posted my recent issues with support that still have not been addressed by Verizon yesterday and Verizon promptly deleted my post. When I then asked why they deleted the post, they also deleted it.
Here is what is going on and the latest:
🚨 Verizon Fios - Broken Promises & Zero Accountability! 🚨
I’ve been a loyal Verizon Fios customer for 16+ years, yet I’ve been lied to, ignored, and given the runaround for weeks over a simple issue.
✅ Feb 14: Ordered a set-top box replacement—was pressured into an unnecessary upgrade.
✅ Same day: Canceled the order & was assured it was canceled (LIE).
✅ Feb 15: Verizon shipped it anyway—overnight.
✅ March 3: I’m told I’ll be charged if I don’t return it, even though I never ordered it.
✅ Verizon “executive team” promised to contact me TWICE—still NOTHING.
✅ 8+ hours wasted dealing with offshore support & getting nowhere.
