Slough Fort, is a Victorian Fort in Allhallows, built to defend the Thames against a potential French invasion during the mid-19th century. Children have the chance to be transported back to find out about what life was like in C19 & C20.

Members of Ashford Borough Museum Society gathered to thank Curator, Ian Sharp when he relinquished the role of museum Curator.

Chairman, Richard Yeates thanked Ian for his 10 years of service to the Museum, and presented him with a Rifles bugle major’s parade stick.
