@norootcause There was a Pre-Conquest English king called Aethelred the Unready. In this context, unready means poorly advised, and is a pun on his name which means well advised. Old English != modern English. https://t.co/XxEp8RWr3d
@norootcause Would you need to couple that with something like:
number of lessons learned from reflection and then acted on / number of lessons learned from reflection
?
@fullstacktester@ministryoftest Knowing if it's a bug or a missing feature can help you decide whether you're going to make the change or not and, if you are, how high up the list of priorities it should be. (There are other factors, but this is one of them.)
[Blog] Is this a bug, a missing feature, or neither? Trying to answer this, or at least find better questions, with the aid of cars and cheesecake.

@tastapod @channingwalton IoT-enabled cooker etc: I am inexplicably phoning home with 5Gb of data. Sorry, you can't bake anything because of important security updates that I need to install. Rebooting (hope that isn't too serious for a system in control of 200+ C temperatures).
[Blog] Changing things (tariffs in smart meters, which side of the road people drive on, software versions) can be disruptive and risky. Blue/green is an approach to reduce the disruption and risk.

@BuckWoodyMSFT I got up this morning and found the table had a model of trenches on the Western Front and diagrams of the Tet Offensive.
I suffer from Somme-'Nam-bulism.
@davefarley77 Trying to not give spoilers, but I much prefer 'cross-functional' to 'non-functional'. Where is security implemented? Performance? Usability? Pretty much everywhere, i.e. they are cross-functional.
