It's released! Amoss now officially supports creating HttpCalloutMocks using a fluent interface specifically designed for it.

@Plusnet Thanks. I'll do that.
Now, please ponder on the absurdity of the fact that in order to ask a simple question one needs to go to the "Make a Complaint" section - and that someone who works as a software engineer building end-user systems couldn't find it on their own...
@NissanUK Is there anything I'm likely to gain by phoning you up??
Unless me making that phone-call means you're going to reverse the decision, what would be the point?
You could explain it away, but I'd still disagree with the decision, because you're taking away functionality...
@NissanElectric - “Your NissanConnect EV app to be discontinued from 30th March 2026”
Pulling support of a required minimum on a £35k car whilst your competitors provide OTA updates to the car's software for the lifetime of the car.
Won't buy another Nissan, that's for sure.
In 5 years time, because of actions like this, Nissan will be wondering why their business is on the floor, and Chinese + other new OEMs have cleaned up.
I, for one, will never buy a Nissan again - because I can no longer trust you... and your new competitors are BETTER.
@NissanUK - “Your NissanConnect EV app to be discontinued from 30th March 2026”
Let's be honest, the app was always way below what should be expected of a £35k car, but to switch it off for my vehicle that's less than 8 years old when Teslas are still getting OTA updates?!!?!!!
@Fortnite@EpicGames - and so yet again I think "I've got half an hour, I'll just have a quick blast on Fortnite..." to find YET ANOTHER mutli-Gb update.
Seriously... sometimes I'd just like to be able to play the damn game without waiting for 20 minutes!!!!!!
@F1 It's 2025 and you talk a big game on inclusivity, but still have lingering shots of drivers' girlfriends in your coverage. Is that all women can be? Eye candy?
Seriously - grow up - and stop it.
...for mass transportation.
There is no argument against EVs that hold up, and it would be good if you contributors educated themselves on the topic before commenting on it.
We are not 'realising that battery EVs are a bad idea' - quite the opposite.
@wearetherace - I love @GaryAndersonF1's tech work for you, but a flippant comment on EV batteries in the last podcast stood out as surprisingly ignorant.
He suggested that "we don't know what to do about EV car batteries", when that absolutely does not stand up to scrutiny...
Battery electric vehicles are not the future of mass transportation - they are the present - they are better, cheaper and demonstrably better for the environment.
I'm a massive fan of F1, and actually look forward to V8s returning - but have no doubt, I will not miss ICE cars...
...but it would be great if you could use more inclusive language and refer to drivers / TPs / engineers with non gender specific pronouns.
It may feel like a small thing, but until we stop assuming that everyone's a man, they probably always will be.
Every little helps
@wearetherace - absolutely love your coverage and articles - especially the Gary Anderson technical content - however, I have a bone to pick with you...
Yes, I get that all the drivers are currently male and the engineers are a heavily male dominated group...

Why do you insist on showing mobile phone footage inside a desktop width video. If you're viewing it on a mobile phone in portrait you end up with a tiny image instead of a full screen one - surely there's a better option!
