There are 38-40 million legal immigrants in the US.

According to the latest CIS data 51% of legal immigrant households are on welfare.

~17-20 MILLION legal immigrants depend on the American taxpayer in some way, and this is to say nothing about the 11-13 million children of these immigrants.

It is supposed to be against the law (1996 PRWORA) for immigrants to be admitted into the US if they risk becoming a public charge.

The next step in our national conversation about immigration needs to be about denaturalizing and pulling the Green Cards of foreign-born welfare dependents.
