Part of being a good GM is knowing what prospects to move and which ones to keep. Breslow has failed miserably aside from makinng Roman, Tolle, and Early off limits. But those guys are no brainers. He cannot evaluate talent to save his life. Its a small sample size for some of these guys, but its been brutal watching what seems like every guy we moved having lots of success in the minors or at the big league level.

They're 1-5 when he has an opener. So what's the point? He hurts us either way. He's a starting pitcher. He needs to be able to do his job, which is starting games. It's not okay that we have to force a reliever into an uncomfortable and unfamiliar role every 5 days because he can't do his damn job.

It's not like he has ace quality stuff. His metrics aren't great, and they weren't great last year. This is his 5th season and he still hasn't figured it out. He's still a head case. He's still inconsistent. His stuff is still mediocre. And he's still a giant risk of shitting the bed everytime he takes the mound. He fell apart when needed him most last year in the wildcard round. I don't see how we can ever trust him to start a must win game again.

Gonna need to see much more consistency from him before calling him an X-factor moving forward. Also anything less than 15 homers from the 3rd base position is unnaceptable. If he hits .300 for the rest of the year, and is a doubles machine, thats one thing. But 3rd base is the one position we could of added that desperately needed impact bat. Considering we're already solid everywhere else defensively. The XBH hits are nice to see.
