@theStephenJKD@RealEmirHan A scene can have a poetic purpose and also not be illogical. In fact it has to if it's not an abstract film or it's just bad filmmaking. It has to make sense within the context of its own reality. Rather than over thinking it, I think you're explaining the problem away.
@theStephenJKD@RealEmirHan Conceal his powers to a bunch of strangers who didn't know him and would never see him again? He could have also been the one to go save the dog, not his dad, and just walk out without anything looking suspicious. No one would have suspected he had powers.
@NessaHoyt84@NoLieWithBTC The Guardian is owned by the Scott Trust, a structure designed to keep it independent and free from political or commercial influence. It does not rely on government grants, corporate owners, or shareholders.
You are a conspiracy nutter cheering on your collapsing economy.
@notemetescabron@FlowerP79667758@LindaBr07293431 Nice metaphor, but unfortunately the "sun" doesn't rise for everyone. Many people in the world live in darkness. I hope you don't have to find that out first hand.

@lalalainsd@SoArchaic@ScooterCasterNY There’s no real evidence that these layoffs were about fraud or that money was funneled to Soros-backed NGOs. I'll tell you what's proven and well known though: sudden mass firings disrupt public services and costs taxpayers more in the long run.
@roger_roghacker@narindertweets The US also doesn't have absolute free speech, people are arrested for targeted hate speech there too. You know, death threats, bomb threats, sharing terrorist propaganda. Brandon Raub was arrested in 2012 for just criticizing the government and spreading conspiracy theories.
@Ste_Cammy@Sargon_of_Akkad People being arrested for things they've said is nothing new in the UK. The US also doesn't have absolute free speech, people are arrested for targeted hate speech there too.
@NurseForTrump24@ManiamAkash@Acyn Simple. You are free as an American citizen to go where you please but there are still plenty of places you are not free to go. Private property. That's putting a limit on your freedom for the protection of others and yourself. This is the same.
