Musk is a Nazi. Trump is a Fascist. America has become “Idiocracy” and an Oligarchy. My grandpa fought Hitler - the least I can do is speak up for what’s right
@ohgoditsmatthew He should appoint Steyer as a healthcare czar in charge of finding ways to make single payer happen, while putting Porter (although I’m mad at her right now for not dropping out) as a housing czar since she had some great housing policies.
Where can I get a job where I get paid insane amounts of money to just destroy things without needing any talent or intelligence? This lady is a human bulldozer.
🚨 BREAKING: Trump Ally Bari Weiss set to take over CNN after Paramount-Warner Bros merger is complete.
Bari Weiss currently leads CBS, and is expected to serve as lead for both media organizations in the future.
@jakethornton If you want some fun content, I started following those couple of foreigners who are here for the World Cup and are falling in love with the South and posting food from diners that is blowing their minds.
my entire timeline now is just two German dudes here for the World Cup experiencing America in all its normal beauty and it’s truly the greatest thing to ever happen to my feed
Unlike Americans who come back from Europe healthier and having lost weight, that German guy here for the World Cup posting around the South how he ate at Waffle House and Chili’s in one day is going to gain like a billion pounds.
Lots of posters say a @nithyavraman victory would further depress housing production in L.A., due to risk of stricter rent control, eviction moratoria, etc.
That's a risk, but she has many ways to mitigate it, including during the general election campaign.

I am not saying this lightly or provocatively but when you seriously consider how painful life can be, the all-but-unspeakable losses & personal suffering, you actually wonder why EVERYONE is not self-medicating.
I did not have that thought until mid-life; it was not a thought I could have entertained in younger years when I believed more in self-sufficiency, strength of will.
some people overestimate their strength- it can be quite a surprise when life knocks you flat.
literally, many people do not understand addiction; it can seem like a matter of "personal choice" depending on upon your experience. before three people in my life passed away within a few years I did not comprehend how loss can destabilize anyone to the point at which ANY remedy could be a solace, & eventually an "addiction." but it begins with the need, strong as thirst, to assuage a hurt, numb a pain; get through a few hours of the night. no one can judge who has not felt this.
Katie Porter is beyond done in politics forever. Plus she lost so much respect for not dropping out when it was obvious she wouldn’t win. Now she has helped down ballot republicans come November. Ego ego ego.
@XavierBecerra Please get some bold policy ideas together for the general. You don’t have nearly enough well thought out visionary ideas like some of your colleagues had in the primary. I hope your staff can see that people are yearning for more than the status quo.
I’ve lived in LA for 12 years. The voting system is set up for convenience. I think I’ve voted in an actual booth maybe 1 time. Other than that I’ve filled out a mail-in ballot and just dropped it off at a drop box or polling place. And some reason, people on here think I shouldn’t be able to do this. That I should have to wait in line, take up a huge chunk of my day. Voting should be easy.
@moseskagan Bit of a non sequitur. I’m not opposed to technological progress. Supporting automation when useful doesn’t mean workers who ARE there shouldn’t have basic dignity. Even in highly automated warehouses, there are still human workers who deserve adequate breaks and pay.
