I still respect Man City for what they’ve done
Why can Man Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal spend what they want to maintain their place but others can’t?
This wouldn’t be allowed in any other business - if you’re rich enough, you should be able to invest and spend your wealth to get better
The wealth of Man City and Newcastle strike fear into the established elite and right now, we’re seeing the repercussions of that
I am sorry, but I will always advocate for clubs who try to break the monopoly at the top of football.
PSR and rules brought in specifically to stop new clubs from the disrupting the red cartel are a load of rubbish.
It’s why I side with clubs like Chelsea and City in such situations. And also sympathise with the likes of Everton, Newcastle, Villa, Leicester, etc. who have been affected and limited by PSR.
🎙"It's a bit like the back room in the casino where Man Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool have had their own little game of Poker. #ManCity have come up with a bigger cast of money and they haven't liked it." 👀
"Premier League needs massive reform & change. It's anti-competitive" 👏
I want every single @ManCity fan to know I am here; more than ever. I am, always have been, always will, be behind my club, my owner, my chairman, Ferran, the players, staff, Enzo and you, our unique supporters.
Let me be clear: we will get through this together.
I love you all 🩵
🎙"Man City could put forward the case that the whole process is flawed. They could use this leak on Friday, which was plastered all over the media, as evidence of an attempt to besmirch our reputation — they could go to high court and argue their case there." ⚖️

Sorry to keep sharing, but if you’re not a City fan, take a listen and see if you can understand why folks take the position they do on FFP.
And this is why it’s difficult - even with an apparent guilty verdict - to really give a crap about FFP breaches.
It’s a closed shop.
🚨 For those who don’t know, Manchester City signed Rodri for £60M back in 2019. 🔵🇪🇸
He leaves seven years later having won the Premier League four times, the Champions League, the FA Cup twice, the League Cup three times, the Community Shield, Club World Cup AND the Ballon d’Or. 🏆
Now he joins Barcelona for £52M + £8M in add-ons.
Incredible player. Incredible era. Brilliant business all round. 👏
Nico G raining praises on Rodri is the most beautiful thing I’ve seen
“I’ve never told you before but you inspire me a lot. You’ve won amazing things and now we’re on same team and I haven’t won tenth of that”
In a market where Diomande is going for €100m, Barcola for £170m, Vinicius for £170m, Julian Alvarez for £150m, Tonali for £100m, Gordon for £90m, Rogers for £120m.
We signed Rayan Cherki for just £25m.
