COVER REVEAL — TERMS & CONDITIONS, a Knox Ramsey thriller.
Everyone signed. Nobody read the fine print.
Flint, Michigan. A surveillance machine nobody will admit exists, and an ordinary engineer the government drafted and now owns, sent under a forgotten city to dig out the rot. The box we all check without reading—and what it quietly costs us. The next Knox Ramsey thriller, after Dark Recipe.

I set this book in Flint on purpose. I grew up in the area, and I wanted to write the place the way I actually see it, which isn't the way it usually gets written about.
Flint built this country. The American middle class was born in those plants—the people who built the cars there won the forty-hour week and put the whole nation on wheels. That past isn't a footnote. It's the reason the place ever mattered.
I'm also not going to pretend the present away. Flint has been failed in ways that should make all of us angry—the water most of all. The people there held up their end, and the deal got broken anyway. That's not pity. It's the plain truth.
So this is a love letter, of a sort. Not the kind that looks past the hard parts, and not the kind that forgets the glory. Flint earned both. What I tried to put on the page is a city that's still standing, and still owed.

My book “Party of One” is available on Audible, Amazon, and https://t.co/48y6XKDiI3 Brad Garrett wrote the foreword and I’m very grateful to him for that. I’m now working on my second book. I hope you’ll give this a read. The cover art is by the supremely talented Drawhoyos and it was edited by the brilliant rock-biographer/journalist @LouderThanHell
🚨 A Chattanooga cop rescues a mother and two children from a burning apartment and the Ring doorbell footage is incredible.
Officer Eli Rogers arrived to find flames blocking the front door and a family trapped inside. He didn't wait.
He went in, got them out, and made sure everyone survived.
"I tried to thank him… That's my whole world. That's my daughter." — Rachel Blaylock
It’s been a little quiet on my end.
Not because nothing was happening—quite the opposite. I’ve been buried in this.
Two very different projects that came out of the same stretch of long days:
BOOTS ON THE GROUND — real field work, instrumentation, troubleshooting, the stuff you only learn by actually doing it.
SHOES INSIDE — first Jackson Dahl, PI case. Different kind of problem entirely. No clean signals. You read the scene or you miss it.
I’ll say this—Jackson Dahl was a fun character to build. There’s more there.
Boots releases April 29.
Shoes follows April 30.
Both will be available online.
I’m also still working on the DARK RECIPE sequel, TERMS & CONDITIONS. Shooting for mid to late summer on that.
Anyway—this is what I’ve been working on. Until next time...

@JackCarrUSA My dad was 1/8 Air Mobile, and also had to do that. He gave me his garrote that he carried. He said, “son, you go in with a flashlight and a 9mm”. He’s totally “normal” today… 😂
@awnihannun@danveloper I spent $20 in tokens discussing the spec with you last night, even created a Skill. It was supposed to be written in “my second brain” and your memory—what in the actual f#%k?!
