@FOXSoccer@USMNT He would’ve been better off just randomly closing his eyes and kicking. Very rarely do goals happen in soccer that aren’t just random luck or penalty kicks. When are they going to increase the size of the goal?
@SaveStandard The sun already rises in Chicago at 5:50 AM, you guys are advocating for the sun came up at 4:50 AM? Imagine working all day and coming home to a dangerous neighborhood and not wanting to go out at night. You would essentially never get any sunlight outside of May June in July.
@SaveStandard If you go outside at 5AM, you’ll see many people are up, none! Later, observe how many are in the park at 6pm playing softball. Nobody wishes the sun was up an hour earlier and this isn’t an extreme example, it’s April. September is even worse and winter is already standard time.
@complainer46 Turn on both hot & cold and wash them under water for the recommended 30 seconds and you’ll be fine. Just be happy about those of us wash our hands at all.
@SaveStandard@PatrickHenry_II@BurgessOwens How are you going to take the shortest day of the year and use it for your argument? Assuming you work 9 to 5, you can’t possibly tell me you didn’t go outside yesterday after work with beautiful weather, happy that the sun wasn’t setting already at 5:45 pm.
@dcperi@RobertKennedyJc It’s biologically correct for me to get off work and have an hour to do some yardwork or go on a walk before the sun goes down. There’s nothing biologically correct about 4 AM sunrises in the summer and darkness by the time America gets off work. Spring forward forever!
@Gu58645Mc@RobertKennedyJc If it was 110° most of the year, I’d want the sun to go down early as well. For the rest of us, we like having a little bit of time after work to take a walk outside or play/work in the yard before the sun goes down.
@rbarrettfox@EvanAKilgore@realDonaldTrump If you get what you’re advocating for, a person who works 9AM-5PM in Chicago, will, on average, experience 3H12M of daylight before work and 48M of daylight after work. Google “Chicago sunset times Sept. 21st.” You can’t seriously believe this is the healthy option.
@rbarrettfox@EvanAKilgore@realDonaldTrump The small minority of vampires who want all year SDT, thus losing an hour of daylight in the evening 8 months a year, argue that a waking day is half over at noon. Wrong, a WORKday isn’t even half over until 1. We clearly don’t need as many hours of daylight before work as after.
@realDonaldTrump If we eliminate an hour of evening sunlight, those in Chicago in September will have a 4:40 AM sunrise, 4 hours 20 minutes before work starts at 9AM. The 5PM commute will be at sunset. No more evening outdoor activities! They will instead sit home & watch TV. All year DST please!
@rbarrettfox@EvanAKilgore@realDonaldTrump So a 5:30 pm commute home from Chicago in September should happen as the sun is setting? You can’t possibly think this is healthy? No one uses sunlight at 3:30 AM.
