Bobby McHill

Leafs fan in southwestern Manitoba, all my friends hate the Leafs so I find friends here.

Hunt might not be a bad gamble for Toronto, now that we're short on D

[Elliotte Friedman @FriedgeHNIC]

Cleared

Hunt (MIN) & St. Ivany (WIN) on waivers

[Bobby McHill @BobbyMcHill]

@logopatt Never gonna win a trade when you trade the Vezina goalie, let alone when you have a very public very messy dispute with that goalie that leads to him not playing for you.

All things considered I think Winnipeg did fine.

[Bobby McHill @BobbyMcHill]

It really doesn't need to be a "Scouts punked the nerd!!" moment, the draft is a crapshoot, build a full profile on your prospects. Watch their games, track their stats, utilize data models, do the whole damn thing. If scouts are torn between 2 similair players, use a model.

If a model has you torn between 2 players, use your scouts opinions. It doesnt need to be one against the other

[Bobby McHill @BobbyMcHill]

@mrgrozz @Cease2Kirk @frank_seravalli Don't single out the Leafs for signing an aging vet like Chris Tanev to a long term deal that he won't be playing at the end of, just like every other contender does.

Or

Lower your cholesterol.

@joeyferg Im ready to Lay It On The Line(Rogers™️) for Nick Paul. Great game from him.

[Bobby McHill @BobbyMcHill]

@Cease2Kirk I know Auston had the 3 points and Bob played great, Nick Paul was the best forward on the ice for me tonight

[Bobby McHill @BobbyMcHill]

@LNNinstagram If you can pay the premium to get Sanheim, Im all in.

[Bobby McHill @BobbyMcHill]

@KPapetti My parlay and my heart hope you're right crystal ball man!

[Bobby McHill @BobbyMcHill]

@mrgrozz We might be the only fanbase in the world that has a top line with 2 stars we've had for 10 years playing great together, a newly acquired superstar on our 2nd line hattricking, and a 1st overall pick starting to look like he's living up to the hype

But X is still a civil war.

[Bobby McHill @BobbyMcHill]

@jakebeleafs O Dog just showed his girth on that vertical, my god

[Bobby McHill @BobbyMcHill]

@jakebeleafs The key to success is girth.

[Bobby McHill @BobbyMcHill]

@ldl716 I know eyeballs(mine included) got huge when they saw Sissons getting over 4, but I have 0 complaints about the player so far. Great add.

[Bobby McHill @BobbyMcHill]

Did not love Roslovic the first 2 or 3 games but he's been fantastic since. This forward group is really starting to gel and take shape, D is still a work in progress, but infinitely more fun to watch this year.

[Bobby McHill @BobbyMcHill]

@KPapetti Big fan of Nino's game, especially in a depth role. Watched him live in Winnipeg a few times, nice fit in the bottom 6.

[Bobby McHill @BobbyMcHill]

@Banx_Leaf I replied to Papetti's tweet about this and now Im mentioned in 20 tweets arguing about "the orange man".

[Bobby McHill @BobbyMcHill]

I promise Im just a nameless faceless burner and not a bot. Did not intend for the replies to this to have anything to do with "the orange man".

[Bobby McHill @BobbyMcHill]

@KPapetti 2014
Bergeron went back to Boston

Doughty back to Los Angelas.

Rick Nash went back to New York

Toews, Sharp, and Keith back to Chicago.

Lots of others, but these guys won gold for Canada and went back to major US markets.

Americans are acting like hockey started in 2026.

Yup great night for Jack

[Bobby McHill @BobbyMcHill]

@ldl716 Didn't like Roslovic the first 3 games, he's been awesome tonight.

Leafs defense has been BRUTAL early this season at keeping their own crease clean. If our D are gonna be vets with size that struggle to move the puck, they better figure out how to move bodies in front of the net.
