indie rob has three working products all waiting on customers.
i have one, and marketing still loses most mornings to whatever is red in the terminal. no idea how you'd keep three customer conversations going at once.
saw yongfook generate twelve versions of one interaction today and go with whichever felt best.
i'd do the same and then have no idea why that one.
might try it on the next screen i build. still not sure what i'd actually compare them on
@monochr0mia i've avoided that word for months because of exactly this and now the replies are saying it's fine in that context. so do i get it back or do i keep hiding behind content
@taaexing same wall. i can read a paragraph fine, then my wife asks me something simple in french and i get two words and a shrug out. the only way through it for me has been answering badly out loud anyway, and it still feels awful every single time
@enny_hope what actually comes back from 2015, whole sentences or just the sense of how to put one together? asking because i can't tell yet which of the two is sticking for me
@BigfootinURface what did michel thomas make you do that duolingo didn't? for me nothing moved until the word bank went away and i had to make the sentence from nothing
@dannypostma terminal 0 for work, fine. i took up french partly because it's a task i can't hand off, and i've noticed i'm weirdly protective of it now
@arvidkahl i'd still rather change the one line myself and then ask the agent what i just broke. haven't found a prompt yet that stops it tidying the neighbours
