@FantasyKash Just a really tough route that the NCAA has pigeon holed themselves into. There are very few ways out of it. The biggest one is allowing the athletes to unionize so the NCAA is then governed by labor law and not anti-trust law. But that opens up a can of worms for other sports.

NCAA has also constantly weakened themselves in recent years with the eligibility lawsuits (Trinidad and Pavia) as well as how they implemented NIL. There’s more to it as well.

But none of this is final orders. The judge granting an injunction really wasn’t too far fetched. NCAA will appeal and they will try and get an expedited emergency relief (aka overturning of the injunction)

@FantasyKash Irreparable harm is a legal term and Sorsby’s situation fits into that.

College eligibility is finite and losing any eligibility is irreparable because you cannot get that time back once it is lost. This isn’t like a business deal where it can be solved with money.
