Some people are requesting an equal critique of Hamas whenever we share live footage of Israel's horrific mass slaughter of civilians, and the naked genocidal rhetoric of its politicians. They aren't disputing Israel's crimes but want to remind us that "Hamas isn't any better". But those same people consider Hamas a terror organization and Israel a legitimate democracy. By their own logic, then, Israel is out-competing a terror organization in the perpetration of horrific war crimes, with the difference that Israel has killed 10x as many innocent people since Oct 7.
