Trump appeared to have adopted many of Putin’s talking points verbatim.

Trump told Zelenskyy that Putin had told him the conflict was a “special operation, not even a war”, adding that the Ukrainian leader needed to cut a deal or face destruction.

the US president threw Ukraine’s maps of the battlefield to one side, said he was “sick” of seeing the map of the frontline of Ukraine again and again.

“This red line, I don’t even know where this is. I’ve never been there,” Trump said.

A reminder, that here in Oakland, CA back in 2018, we had the exact same circumstance occur on our local city transportation system.

A 27 year old White Male, John Lee Cowell, slashed the neck of a young 18 year old Black woman, Nia Wilson, murdering her in a cold blooded, unprovoked attack.

It was virtually identical to the murder of Iryna Zarutska. Both of the senseless, heinous killings were captured on video, should infuriate any decent, human being, and we should all be determined to not ever get comfortable or desensitized to this as a society.

But only one of these killings made National News and is being politicized to this degree.

My question is, why the selective outrage?
