I'm always exploring simple ways to support the nervous system—and recently, I came across something surprisingly effective. These gel ice packs are often used for headaches, but they’re also a gentle, accessible tool for activating the parasympathetic nervous system.

If you’ve been following along with my phone-free summer challenge series, you should be ready for this one. So go ahead, set that timer and get into an activity without your phone and let me know how it goes for you! 👀

Don’t immediately reach for your phone every time you feel weird. Instead, use these moments in life to work on practicing tolerating boredom and awkward feelings. Next time you feel the urge to grab your phone to avoid an awkward feeling, don’t 📵, and let me know how it goes
📱Are you addicted to your phone? 🤳 Today we’re kicking-off a new series for anyone who needs help incorporating phone-free moments into their daily life. It’s my hope that this series helps people of all ages create healthier relationships with their phones. 📴 #phoneaddiction
If you’re struggling with staying present, this is one of my best tips for anyone looking for a way to train their brain to stay in the present moment and not drift to distracting or unhelpful thoughts. Give this method a try and let me know how it goes for you. #mentalhealthwalk
@nbcnews Spotlight on @BodaTherapy! Our founder, Andrew Tepper, recently met with #NBCNEWS’ @drakshaysyal to share his thoughts on outdoor therapy & to give Syal a first-hand look at what ditching the office for an outdoor session is like:

Putting in the effort to change your mind is hard. Unhelpful thoughts are easy to listen to and dwell on. Catching them in the moment and reframing them is hard work but the more you do it, the less the unhelpful thoughts take hold and feel true. After all thoughts are not facts
Are you tired of going to therapy once a week for 45 minutes in a traditional office setting? Get outside, in nature, where therapy can be fun with BODA Therapy! DM us now to connect with our highly knowledgeable staff or check out our many offerings at https://t.co/yV5e530rZC
Our thoughts are only with us from moment to moment. They come and go like waves on the shore. Next time you’re experiencing negative thought patterns, try to treat them as such, just passing thoughts. Try this and see if it helps you distance yourself from your thoughts,
When you’re struggling to find motivation, remind yourself of why you’re doing the thing you’re doing. Say it out loud. Say it to yourself in front of the mirror. Say it in a funny voice. Hopefully this can shift things and get you moving forward.

Our BODA Therapy founder, Andrew, was recently able to squeeze in a ski trip with friends at #MountWashington in #NewHampshire. If you’ve been putting off taking that trip with pals, let this serve as your reminder to spend time with friends near and far & get outside to explore.
💡Tip to Try: Whenever you notice that you’re getting distracted from the present moment, say to yourself out loud the word: ‘distracted’. This can be an effective strategy to shift your focus back to the present moment. Try that and let me know how it works for you.
Mother Nature appreciation post! 🤍This year’s Spring Break retreat looks a little different than we thought it would 🌨️👀 but we couldn’t be more grateful for the beautiful scenery and opportunity to challenge our minds and bodies while exploring the trails on snowshoes.
