Melbourne Name & Shame: Charlie Ann Tidmarsh & Edith Pope
On Anzac Day (April 25, 2026), Charlie Ann Tidmarsh, 20, of Reservoir, and Edith Pope, 22, of Northcote, allegedly went on a graffiti spree targeting two Melbourne RSL clubs.
Police allege they spray-painted offensive messages including “f--k ANZAC”, “kill the troops”, “death to the ADF”, and “die war criminal imperialists” on the Reservoir RSL (around midnight) and the Bell Street RSL in Heidelberg Heights (around 1:45am).
They were caught in the act at the second location.
Damage: ~$3,000 to Reservoir RSL and $200 to Bell St RSL.
They were charged with criminal damage, marking offensive graffiti, and grossly offensive public conduct.
The pair appeared in Heidelberg Magistrates’ Court on May 19, 2026, hiding behind masks and umbrellas.
Their case was adjourned until June 17, 2026.
