They will NOT make a billionaire contribute to the basic needs of the community BUT they will make the whole community bear the electrical, water, and building costs of a data center owned by a billionaire.
If you had told me 10 years ago that a billionaire would accuse humans of drinking too much water in 2026 because data centres need it to power the AI tech that is now threatening our entire way of life, I would have told you to write a better Bond villain, because wtf?

Just to be clear, I do not just haťe generative Al. I also haťe golf, lawns, space tourism, war, monoculture farming, clear cutting forests, building on floodplains, deep sea mining, developments that destroy habitats, and corporations bulldozing ecosystems for endless growth.
I’m constantly astonished that billionaires would rather ignore the climate crisis and prepare to live in a bunker with dvds and baked beans than devote a modicum of their bottomless wealth to saving the planet where we have fresh fruit and soft grass and blue skies.
Never forget that as Elon Musk became a trillionaire today, it is estimated that 750,000 people have died as a result of his cutting of USAID. The majority of those deaths were children.
A person that becomes a trillionaire should be shamed and ostracized for hoarding massive amounts of wealth. That kind of behavior isn’t admirable but rather greedy and sociopathic.
The most advanced technologies in the world are trees, mycelium networks, river systems, and entire ecosystems. I’m personally tired of idolizing human made technology that destroys the very systems that actually sustain life and hold real wisdom.
