@doctorhelgi Excellent work all round! It’s always difficult to pull back from measures previously regarded as essential, but sacred cows need to be challenged.
@rpaton11 I hope you’re covering the introduction of anaesthesia and the great John Snow. Not only the first British anaesthetist but also widely regarded as the father of epidemiology
@Anaes_Journal We tried to get it in as “What’s a woman gotta do…”, but the Editor-in-Chief put his foot down. Editors - power-crazed, the lot of them!
@jk_rowling Quite right too! I’ve got a full set, purchased only because I felt sorry for you. Can’t imagine how they got to be so thumbed, tatty and tea-stained…
Lovely afternoon at Melton Cheese Fair. Hardly bought anything, honest! And certainly not an unfeasibly large quantity of @HartingtonKings cracked black pepper. Out with the crackers… @JoeBangles11
@Baddiel Doctor here. I had Kenalog every year for about 15 years - the only drug that would even touch the sides. Never did me any harm *foams at mouth and twitches uncontrollably*
@doctimcook@Fionafionakel@DrLKVaughan We trialed these in Nottingham maternity unit when I was there (around 2018, I think). They really helped with peer communication in an emergency and ensured that patients and relatives knew our names and roles.
