Erupting volcano in near infrared and visible imagery (in comments), south Patagonia region, #Argentina. The magenta regions show healthy forests, the gray areas show where the eruption has decimated the surroundings. Taken from @Space_Station on my previous mission.
The Electromagnetic Compatibility test campaign in the @AirbusSpace anechoic chamber is successfully completed. Thanks to the Team that made it happen 👏!
#JUICE is now back in the clean room, the preparation for solar array deployment & mechanical tests has started. Stay tuned!
About 2.3 billion light years from Earth, Abell 1689 is one of the most massive clusters of galaxies known. The arcs in this image are caused by gravity distorting the light of galaxies in the background — a phenomenon known as gravitational lensing. https://t.co/DTfSuY36nc
⌚️Only a few hours left... This weekend was time for the final preparations before ESA's 78th parabolic flights campaign.

After installation by @astro_matthias, some software update and basic verifications, the operators are ready to whisk the PASTA mayonnaise...
Will the sauce take?
As you can guess from the picture below, I am happily writing again about Fluid Physics experiments in micro gravity! Today, the first flight of the 61st @CNES Paraboloic Flight campaign has been conducted with on board the flow boiling experiment #CoSmo. @Bordeaux 🛫🛬🛫🛬🛫🛬
The cool thing is that during the making of that programme Wally met @AstroSamantha - who will become the first female European commander of the Space Station in 2022.
The UZH Space Hub member Jaap Swanenburg, here on the right, and his team are attending the 76th @esa#parabolicflight campaign this week! In their experiment they measure spinal stiffness under different gravity conditions. @UZH_Science@UZH_en@AirZeroG#parabolicESA
