I'm watching Sam Altman on @CNBC and I don't know about you all, but I can't trust someone who lacks in eye contact. Especially when answering questions.
@Idahopro59@therealmcnair Yes, and it was. He was my Gpa's favorite golfer. He was feisty and caught me with my foot in my mouth. His office walls were covered in photos.
@Idahopro59@therealmcnair Mr Burke was not short of opinions. One of the most embarrassing moments of my life was when I had a chance to meet with him at his club/office. It started at the entrance to the club when I showed up without a coat, and went downhill from there. I heard a few that evening.
Well, I got a quality bag for the @usopengolf qualifier, however I also learned that my old legs don't like carrying a bag 7k yards. PAT in Spokecompton Monday. At least it's 36 in a cart.
@Idahopro59@HHubelPGA@acaseofthegolf1 I'm trying to get a bag at Warm Springs tomorrow for the qualifier. My youngest son is playing but I don't want to be anywhere near him.
@acaseofthegolf1 I was thinking of you and a story yesterday. I was scorekeeping for the 1A, 2A, 3A, and 4A, ID State HS golf championship. My group were 2A, their schools have ~ 120 students total. They carded 125, 109, and 104. Winner got 2lbs of pickles, and 5 lbs of peanuts.
@usopengolf@USGA Is there anyone out there playing the qualifier at Warm Springs in Boise? I'm looking for a bag. I think my bio explains some. Former D1, caddied https://t.co/6IKqs09e8R, I've played the course for 20 years and also work there.
@MidwestGolfJake I disagree on the role model. I've spent plenty of time around the players and caddies who are "born again" Christians. The belief that you are going to heaven by accepting Christ creates a sense of entitlement and results in less charity. It's seen in his demeanor on the course.
